Since we’ve discussed this several times in meetings, I decided to make a list of post-rapture events from the Book of Revelation. These are “the things that must take place in the future”. (Revelation 4:1) 


  1. 1st seal, the rise of the Antichrist (6:1)
  2. 2nd seal, war (6:3-4)
  3. 3rd seal, famine (6:5-6)
  4. 4th seal, death and hell (6:7-8)
  5. 5th seal, first tribulation martyrs (6:9-11)
  6. 6th seal, great day of God’s anger (6:12-17)
  7. The 144,00 Jews marked (7:1-8)
  8. Tribulation martyrs worship scene (7:9-17)
  9. 7th seal, silence in heaven (8:1)
  10. 7 angels receive the 7 trumpets (8:2)
  11. Prayer ministry of the angels (8:3-5)
  12. Angels prepare to sound the trumpets (8:6)
  13. 1st trumpet, hail, fire and blood (8:7)
  14. 2nd trumpet, 1/3 of the Mediterranean Sea turned to blood (8:9)

  48. 5th bowl judgment, Antichrist’s kingdom plunged into total darkness, people continue to blaspheme God (16:10-11)
  49. 6th bowl judgment, Euphrates River dried up to make highway for armies to gather at Armageddon (16:12)
  50. Three loathsome spirits gather the nations to Armageddon (16:13-16)
  51. 7th bowl judgment, greatest earthquake in history of the earth, cities (including literal Babylon, the commercial center of Antichrist’s kingdom) destroyed, islands in the Mediterranean moved, 50 lb. hailstones fall on people, they continue to blaspheme God (16:17-21; 18:1-24)
  52. Leaders of the nations commit idolatry with the great whore (false religious system) (17:1-5)
  53. Saints martyred by great whore (17:6-7)
  54. The 10 kings of the Old Roman Empire unite with Antichrist who finally has complete power over the area surrounding the Mediterranean Sea (Western Europe, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Northern Africa) (17:8-13)
  55. They plot war against the Lamb (17:14)
  56. They destroy the great whore (17:15-18)
  57. The marriage supper of the Lamb (19:1-10)
  58. The second coming of Christ to the earth (19:11-16)
  59. Angel invites birds to Armageddon (19:17-18)
  60. Battle of Armageddon, Antichrist and false prophet thrown into lake of fire (19:19-21)
  61. Satan bound in the Abyss (20:1-3)
  62. 1st resurrection completed, Millennium begins (20:4-6)
  63. Satan loosed to deceive the nations at the end of the Millennium (20:7)
  64. The last rebellion on the earth against God (20:8-9)
  65. Satan confined to hell forever (20:10)
  66. 2nd resurrection, the judgment of the wicked dead (20:11-15)
  67. New heaven and new earth (21:1)
  68. New Jerusalem descends to earth from heaven (21:2)
  69. God on the earth to dwell with men (21:3; 22:3-5)
  70. Curse removed, all things made new (21:4-5; 22:3)
  71. The living nations and redeemed saints will live forever with God on the earth (22:1-5)
